This policy describes what East Tennessee E-Waste LLC ("we") actually does with information collected through this website. It will be updated if our practices change.

What we collect

When you submit the pickup request form, we receive the information you enter:

• your name, and business or organization name if provided
• your email address and, optionally, phone number
• your city and ZIP code
• whether the pickup is residential or business
• the types and approximate quantity of electronics, whether devices contain storage drives, and any notes you write

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message.

How we use it

We use this information only to respond to your request: to decide whether we can take your items, to contact you, and to arrange and carry out a pickup. We do not sell your information.

Who processes it

Form submissions are delivered to us through a form-handling service. [TODO before launch: name the form/email provider actually used, and the spam-protection service if Cloudflare Turnstile is enabled.]The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages [TODO: confirm at launch]. We don't share your information with others except as needed to operate the site and respond to you, or if the law requires it.

Analytics and cookies

This site does not currently use advertising trackers or analytics, and does not set cookies of its own. If we add analytics later, we will update this page.

Data on your devices

Information stored on equipment you give us is separate from this policy. Please read ourdata handling page and remove sensitive storage drives before pickup.

Retention and your choices

We keep pickup requests as long as needed to respond and keep reasonable business records. To ask us to correct or delete your information, email pickup@etnewaste.com.
